Support

Crime Stoppers is a community program supported by donations of money, goods or services. Contributions are made by individuals, private sources, corporations, clubs, professional associations, retailers, as well as civic and social groups. These contributions allow Central Wyoming Crime Stoppers to assist law enforcement with information that solves crimes. Your participation and support is crucial to making our streets safer. And, since Crime Stoppers is a charitable organization, all donations are tax-exempt.

Crime Stoppers is a volunteer organization built around the community. It involves a partnership of the media, citizens and law enforcement in an effort to eliminate crime. The media broadcasts crime reports, then we look to the community to supply information that can help solve the crime. Crime Stoppers then presents the information to appropriate law enforcement authorities.

Crime Stoppers is governed by a voluntary board of citizens. Through donations, Crime Stoppers is able to pay rewards for tips received which result in arrests. We are not funded by the government and depend on contributions to fight crime and make our community a safer and better place to live and raise our families.

Crime Stoppers does not want your name. We just want your information about the crime. Even seemingly useless information can make a difference. Many small pieces of information put together can solve a crime. Together we can make a difference!

Felony

We can’t stop crime without your help. When you provide us with information that leads to a felony conviction, you become eligible for a cash reward. Stopping serious crime is a community-wide objective, so all cash rewards come from donations, and not only do your tips contribute to that effort, but you also may be monetarily rewarded.

Misdemeanor

Our mission is to solve every crime, so when you submit a tip that results in a misdemeanor conviction, you are eligible to earn non-cash rewards like goods and services, donated by our generous supporting sponsors.

Donate

Crime Stoppers relies on the generosity of our community to provide rewards for invaluable crime-solving tips. Cash donations reward individuals who provide information resulting in felony convictions, and we use donated goods and services to reward persons whose information results in misdemeanor convictions. We receive cash donations from both individuals and organizations, while goods and services are typically granted by organizations. These rewards incentivize and are often a catalyst in convincing individuals to share tips and information crucial to solving crimes. Your support is paramount to keeping our community safe, and we sincerely appreciate your support and contributions.
